School Program Approved by Colorado Division of Private Occupational Schools

The Colorado School for Guides is a fully approved private occupational school. Upon graduation students who complete the full 30 day course receive a certified diploma to signify their completion of the SFG outdoor courses. In some cases this course qualifies for transfer to 2 year and 4 year college credits as elective credits. The School for Guides school administrators can help to assist you with this process. Several of our graduates have opted for this opportunity to turn their outdoor training experience into college credit. The following link will connect you with the Colorado Division of Private Occupational Schools Division for additional information concerning school approvals.
